Lumen Christi’s Youth Ministry program exists as an opportunity for the youth of our Parish to build friendships, and serve our community and grow in their faith. We coordinate service opportunities, fun outings, retreats and other programs that create a welcoming environment for any youth in our community. We’re developing relevant and exciting opportunities for youth in grades 6-8 and 9-12 for 2020-21. In the meantime, during COVID-19, please enjoy the following opportunities.
Participate in Lumen Christi’s new Teen Chat Board. This board provides space for you to connect with other teens in your parish community and discuss your questions about God, Church, and faith. If you’re wondering about something, so are others. Discuss and ponder with each other. Each week, one question will be chosen to receive a comprehensive answer from Fr. Paul, a staff member, or a parishioner with expertise related to the question. This chat board is open to the public and all posts are reviewed by a moderator for approval. If you have any questions, please contact Lynn Schelitzche, Director of Faith Formation at firstname.lastname@example.org or 651-698-5581. This is a place for teens to connect with each other in your spiritual quest. Click here to get started https://padlet.com/lschelitzche/vkz4sbs1w8b8msqe.
