If you were baptized in the Church, but were not confirmed or did not receive First Communion, and would like to please contact us.
No matter how long you have been away from the Catholic Church, we are happy to welcome you and want you to know that there’s a place for you at Lumen Christi. God never stops loving us and always welcomes us and wants the best for us. If your being away was caused by someone associated with the Catholic Church, please don’t allow that relationship to get between you and the God who loves you. If you feel now is the time in your life to return to your Catholic faith, we are here to help you.
I would like to tell all those who feel far from God and the church — and I say this respectfully to those who are afraid or indifferent: The Lord calls you and wants you to be part of his people and does so with great respect and love! He gives love and this love looks for you, waits for you. This is the love of God.
–From Pope Francis
You may be wondering how to return to the practice of your faith. Some choose to celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation and then return to the sacraments of the Mass. Some would like to simply talk with a priest first. Please call our parish office 651-698-5581 and make an appointment with Fr. Dan, our pastor. He will be happy to meet with you.
While you are discerning what comes next in your relationship to God and the Catholic Church, please feel free to come to Lumen Christi for Mass or participate through live streaming. Check the home page of this site for the current schedule. This is an opportunity for you to hear the scriptures with your heart and to join others in praising God.
You can keep in touch with our parish activities through our Sunday bulletins and on this website. If you have any questions, please call our parish office at 651-698-5581 or email us.
