COVID Precautions
First, we urge you and your family to get vaccinated and boostered if you have not done so yet. While breakthrough cases can and do occur, we know they are much less likely to progress to severe illness in the vaccinated. As Pope Francis said last year, getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is an act of love.
Second, we suggest all parishioners upgrade their masks to Kn95 or N95 respirators if worshiping in person. These masks are much more protective than cloth or surgical masks.
Third, please stay home if you are feeling sick.
As Christians, we must take care of the Body of Christ that is the Lumen Christi community. Through vaccination, proper mask use, and cautious care, we will be able to once again weather the current storm the pandemic has brought us.

Working to Keep Worship Safe
Masks are recommended.
Our liturgical ministers wear masks before, during and after services while interacting with parishioners.
Our priests and Eucharistic ministers sanitize their hands and wear masks during the consecration and distribution of the Eucharist. Receiving Communion on the tongue is suspended at this time.
We encourage you to spread out in the church.
Please be mindful and take precautions around children who are not able to be fully vaccinated yet.
