Agape Dinner for Widows and Widowers

The Agape Meal is a ritual known in some Christian churches that celebrates the bonds of harmony, goodwill and congeniality.

The featured speaker will be Deacon Mike Lane. Born in Robbinsdale, Deacon Mike was baptized at St. Anne’s (now St Anne-St. Joseph Hein) in north Minneapolis. He grew up in Brookly Park attending public school, while his First Sacraments and Confirmation took place at St. Alphonsus in Brooklyn Center.
He was married  in 1983 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Virginia, MN and then Ordained December 4, 2021.
After being married for almost 30 years, with a daughter and two sons, he was widowed in 2013 as, wife, Tracy died suddenly from complications of fighting cancer.
He will soon be a grandfather.
