Come rest and pray! Take a physical and mental break and rest in the spiritual experience of the labyrinth. It represents our journey with God.
After engaging in a presentation on the history and spiritual meaning of labyrinths, the science of how they affect our brains, the styles of labyrinths, and how to use labyrinths, you will be invited to enjoy a choice of labyrinth activities. A variety of prayers, meditations, and intentions will be provided for your journey. Following our labyrinth experiences, we will enjoy a lovely lunch.
An 11-circuit Chartres floor labyrinth will be available as well as several large wooden finger labyrinths. There will be labyrinth art to make, a labyrinth toolkit, and books with images of labyrinths. Stocking feet are required on the floor labyrinth unless there is a medical reason for shoes.
Saturday, February 24 from 9:30 am-–1:00 pm in the Community Room.
The Lenten Labyrinth will also be available for use to all Monday through Thursday, February 26 – 29
