Grades 1-5 (preschool siblings attend for free)Families meet and learn together in our elementary faith formation sessions. The annual theme will tie in with the liturgical year, Catholic teaching, and Scripture. Prayer, activities, games, puzzles, maps, music, service projects, and crafts are part of the sessions. Supplemental resources to use at home will be provided at each session. Lynn Schelitzche, Director of Faith Formation, is the lead catechist. Grades 1-5 Family Faith Formation meets in the Community Room. Activities are also provided for preschool siblings.Grades 6-8Encounter Bible Study
Encounter: Experiencing God in the Everyday is more than a Bible study program. It is a life-changing experience that speaks directly to the hearts and minds of middle-school-aged kids. Designed specifically for 6th to 8th grades, Encounter reveals the story of our faith and God’s plan for our lives. As they are drawn into this story, they will come to a new and profound understanding of who God is. Most importantly they will see God not as a distant doctrinal concept, but as the loving divine who desires a meaningful and lasting encounter with them. Middle School Faith Formation meets in the Community Room. Each youth will receive their own Bible.
