New Parish Director

Lumen Christi Parish Welcomes New Parish Director, Max Huber
[St. Paul, MN] — 11/19/2024 — Lumen Christi Catholic Community is pleased to announce the appointment of Max Huber as its new Parish Director. A familiar face to many, Max has served as the parish’s Communications Director for the past two and a half years and has been a member of the parish since 2016.

Max’s journey to this leadership role is a testament to his deep commitment to the Catholic faith and his passion for serving the community. He completed the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) in 2016, the same year he and his wife, Lisa, joined Lumen Christi. Since then, the parish has been an integral part of their family life. Both of their children, Dakota and Rocco, have been baptized at Lumen Christi and are thriving students at Highland Catholic School.

With over a decade of experience in marketing, communications, business management, and community relations at organizations such as the University of North Dakota, WCCO-TV, the St. Paul Saints, and the University of Minnesota, Max brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. At Lumen Christi, his leadership will focus on supporting the parish’s mission to grow in faith, foster community, and reach out to others with Christ’s love.

“It is an incredible honor to take on the role of Parish Director,” Max said. “Lumen Christi has been a spiritual home for my family and me, and I am excited to continue serving this wonderful community in a new capacity. Together, we can build an even stronger, more connected parish where everyone feels welcome, valued, and inspired.”

As Parish Director, Max is committed to strengthening relationships with parishioners, clergy, staff, and the Highland Catholic School community. He plans to enhance parish communications, foster collaboration, and develop new opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, and outreach.

Fr. Dan Haugan, pastor of Lumen Christi, shared his confidence in Max’s leadership, saying, “Max’s dedication, experience, and faith are a tremendous blessing to our parish. His vision and energy will guide us forward as we continue our mission to share God’s love.”

Parishioners and community members are encouraged to meet Max at upcoming Masses or events, where he looks forward to connecting personally. His office door will also always be open to hear ideas, share feedback, and collaborate on the parish’s future.
