Highland Park Turkey Trot supports Hi-C

The 13th annual Highland Park Turkey Trot (HPTT) once again brought our community together on Thanksgiving morning, reinforcing its status as a cherished local tradition. This 5K event promotes health and camaraderie and exemplifies the spirit of giving, with 100% of race proceeds benefiting two outstanding organizations: Highland Friendship Club and Highland Catholic School. highlandparkturkeytrot.com

In November 2024, over 1100 participants laced up their running shoes, demonstrating the event's enduring popularity and the community's commitment to supporting local causes. The success of HPTT is further bolstered by the generous contributions of more than 15 local businesses that stepped forward as sponsors, showcasing the collective strength of our neighborhood.

Tony Leseman, Event Coordinator and a current parent at Highland Catholic School reflects on the event's significance: "HPTT has become a favorite neighborhood/family tradition on Thanksgiving morning for the past 13 years. Through our generous sponsors and overwhelming show of participants, we can give both organizations tremendous financial support to impact our greater community with families from both organizations.
