Preparing for and celebrating Baptism is a blessed journey! Baptism joins us with Christ and forms us into God’s disciples. It is the first Sacrament to be celebrated before celebrating any of the Church’s six other sacraments. Baptism is the first Sacrament of Initiation, the other two being Confirmation and First Eucharist. The Catholic Church baptizes people of all ages-infants to adults. Through Baptism, we receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and accept God’s transforming love.
